A few years ago I opened my own property tax bill and could not explain a single line on it — not the assessed value, not the mill rate, not why it had risen when nothing about my house had changed. My neighbors were just as confused. We were all paying one of the largest bills of our lives on trust alone. The tools I found online were either broken, buried in ads, or demanded my email before showing a single number.
This site is the tool I wanted to hand people: enter your home value and state, answer a few quick questions, and see an estimated bill, the exemptions you might be missing, and whether your assessment looks too high. Every calculation runs in your browser. There is no sign-up, no lead form, and no data leaves your device.

How we make money
The calculators are free and always will be. The site is supported by advertising, an optional paid guide, and affiliate relationships with select service providers. Those relationships never change what the calculator outputs or which recommendations we make — the math is the math.
